Most of the systems below are heart-rate systems for gyms. Round Connect starts from the class itself — video, cues and timers — and its Signaller turns data into signals for the coach, the client and the owner, with heart rate as one input among several. For a pilates studio the usual alternative is a laptop with videos and a phone timer; Round Connect replaces both. Here is how it compares with the best-known heart-rate systems.

Where others are stronger
We would rather you choose with the full picture.
- All-in-one management. Uptivo and Spivi include or connect to booking, memberships and payments. Round Connect deliberately doesn’t — if you want one system for everything, they may suit you better.
- Ecosystem and community. Myzone has a mature member experience: activity feeds, challenges and achievements built around the member.
- Watches today. Accuro supports Apple Watch and Wear OS on its higher plans now; our watch apps are still in testing.
- Licensed content and virtual classes. Spivi offers virtual worlds and content partnerships for cycling studios.
Where Round Connect is different
- The coach is the user. Signals for overload, poor recovery and holding back, and a brief on who is in the room — not a scoreboard for the members.
- Nothing to compare with the neighbour. No points, no calories, no leaderboards. Members see their own zone and their own progress.
- No lock-in hardware. Standard straps and watches, the TV you already have, a tablet.
- Free for small studios. A single studio with classes of up to 10 people pays nothing, with the core and the Basic plan of its product.
