For studio owners

How Round Connect helps a boutique studio keep newcomers, notice who has stopped coming, keep class quality consistent across coaches — under the studio's own brand.

A boutique studio lives on people who come back. You don’t need another dashboard: you need the right signal at the right moment — who is drifting away, which newcomer is struggling, whether every class is taught your way — and the decisions left to you. That is what the Signaller in Round Connect does for an owner.

The signals you get

Who has stopped coming

By the time a membership isn’t renewed, the decision was made weeks earlier.

The console shows people who used to come regularly and haven’t been recently, so there is still time to get in touch. When they return, the coach is reminded to welcome them back and start easier.

The first weeks

Whether someone stays is usually decided in their first few classes. Beginners tend to push too hard to keep up with the regulars, and in a full room that is hard to see.

Round Connect marks newcomers on the instructor’s tablet before class. With heart-rate straps it also watches their intensity more closely: a newcomer who stays above 90% of their maximum heart rate for a minute is flagged, where a regular would be flagged after three.

Records that show you care

Attendance, every class and its programme, and — in Round Connect Reformer — what clients asked the studio to be careful with and every “it hurt”, in one place. Not a promise to anyone; a record of how you look after people.

What stays yours

Your method in every class

A signature format shouldn’t depend on who is on shift. Classes run on your programmes — the order, the timing, the cues and a video of every exercise on the screen — so a new or substitute instructor teaches the way you do.

Your brand and your systems

The class screen, the member app and the console carry your logo and colours. Studios that want their own app in the stores will be able to have one, published under their own developer account — it’s planned.

Booking, payments and CRM stay as they are. Round Connect does the class and its history, nothing more, and asks nothing new of your team or your members.

Every class is saved without anyone pressing “save”: second by second for 90 days, a summary for good.

What you need

A screen

Any TV with a browser or a small media box. It pairs with a code, like a streaming app.

Your exercise videos

Demo videos on Vimeo, filmed by your instructors on your equipment — or start from the classical repertoire in the library; we can help you plan what to film.

Heart-rate straps — optional

Standard ANT+ and Bluetooth chest straps, such as Polar, or straps under your own brand. Most useful for cycling, boxing and HIIT.

A tablet for the coach

To start the programme and see who needs attention. A phone works too.

Bikes, rowers and a watch — optional

Bikes and rowers that broadcast their data connect to the computer behind the studio screen; where a bike doesn’t, a small cadence sensor does. A watch brings the coach’s signals to their wrist (in development).

Your data stays yours

Member data and training history belong to the studio, and studios are isolated from each other. When a member leaves, their data is anonymised. We collect what the coach’s signals and the history need, and nothing for advertising.

Where we are

The Round Connect core runs in partner studios: video classes, timers, circuits and heart-rate signals work end to end. Reformer, Cycle, Combat, Functional, Flow, Rowing and Race start with their first partner studios. Pilot studios help decide what comes next.
